The Whatcom Conservation District is launching a new Forest Stewardship Program (Program) that seeks to promote and conserve resilient forests for multiple benefits and to reduce the risk of forest land conversion by empowering communities and forest landowners to become knowledgeable and successful stewards of forest resources.  Program services will be delivered by a Forest Stewardship Specialist who will collaborate with a team of stewardship foresters from seven Puget Sound Conservation Districts (PSCD) to implement the PSCD Caucus Regional Forest Stewardship Program.
