ANNOTATION: This report compares the guidelines for harvesting woody biomass from various states including, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. These biomass harvesting guidelines as well as this paper cover topics such as dead wood, wildlife, water quality, soil productivity, silviculture, and disturbance as it pertains to biomass removal.
