This year’s sessions will explore the emerging vision for rural western communities rooted in the stewardship economy - an economy shaped by the need, and responsibility, to manage for the sustainability of both land and communities. What practices, strategies, investments and policies will lead to thriving landscapes and people in the face of shifting economic drivers and population trends, environmental challenges such as catastrophic wildfire and climate change, and historic levels of funding for conservation and rural communities? Come join us for robust discussions, knowledge-sharing, and strategizing. RVCC’s Annual Meetings are open to anyone and we welcome new faces!
