The Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources at North Carolina State University is seeking a talented junior faculty member to appoint as a tenure track assistant professor in the area of natural resources and environmental policy.

Applicants must possess a Ph.D in Natural Resources and/or Environmental Policy or closely related field with a strong background in one or more of the following areas: international law, energy, wildland fire, waters resources, land and open space protection, environmental easements, national forest management and planning, community forestry, policy analysis, political theory and political economy. The successful candidate must possess the ability and desire to direct graduate student research, publish articles in professional journals, attract external funding, and teach graduate and undergraduate courses.
