The Nature Conservancy's Assistant Director of Fire Management (ADFM) oversees and supports all aspects of wildland fire management safety, including prescribed fire and wildfire suppression, with a particular initial focus on the Great Plains and the Western United States. The ADFM reports directly to the Director of Fire Management and assists with Safety Reviews, Safety Training, including live-fire training activities, and incident response. Additionally, the ADFM supports the Director of Fire Management and the Global Safety Team in administering fire reporting and fire qualifications for U.S. based Business Units (BUs).
