Temporary Promotion, NTE 1 Year

This position serves as a Fuel Treatment Effectiveness Monitoring (FTEM) application research liaison for the Wildland Fire Management Research, Development and Application group within Forest Service Research and Development.  The Wildland Fire Management Research, Development, and Application (WFM RD&A) program promotes application of wildland fire scientific knowledge; develops decision support tools; and provides science application services to the interagency wildland fire community. Applications will be accepted only from current permanent Forest Service (FS) employees with competitive status; Land Management eligibles whose last appointment was with the FS; and CTAP/RPL eligible candidates.
