This document reports on a study of the 2007 Moonlight Fire on the Plumas National Forest, using direct observation and immediate post-fire assessment of fire behavior evidence from satellites and field plots to evaluate effectiveness of fuel treatments and fire behavior in protected habitat for the owl and goshawk.
